Lamborghini is gearing up to launch two new versions of its much popular supercar Huracan with even more power and performance. Reports suggests that the coupe version of these Huracan will be called ‘Huracan Superleggera’ and the droptop version will be named as ‘Huracan Spyder Performante’. Lambo has already trademarked the name in Europe.
Hidden under the heavy camouflages, it can be seen that the Huracan Superleggera has more aggressive front end that looks pretty much inspired by the big brother Aventador. A big change in the design is at the rear where the exhausts are now placed upwards like the GT3 race car to make space for diffuser down there. Also adding sportiness is the big rear wing that will do the aerodynamics job as well.
The Huracan Superleggera is likely to get the naturally aspirated V10 engine which is also found in the Audi R8. The power might be boosted up to about 650 hp compared to 610 hp in the standard Huracan LP 610-4. Reports suggests that the Superleggera will be about 100 kg lighter than the current Huracan coupe.
The Huracan Superleggera might make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
