Just hours before scheduled official unveil, Skoda’s much awaited and much talked about SUV Kodiaq has been leaked online revealing the car fully inside and outside. Skoda will be launching the SUV later today at an event in Berlin.
As expected the Kodiaq carries the silhouette of the VisionS concept it is based on, with some cosmetic changes. The 4.7 m long SUV stands tall with muscular front fascia. The middle black front grille is similar to other latest Skoda cars, well complimented by sleek LED DRLs and heavy full width black bumpers.
Rear of the Kodiaq looks modern and stylish and the edgy triangular tail lamps. The SUV will come in 2 row and 3 row seating options making it the first full size SUV from the Czech car maker. The Kodiaq has a bootspace of 720 litres with all seats up and can be extended to 2065 litres with the seats folded and it is claimed to be the largest boot in it’s class.
Cabin of the Kodiaq, as Skoda revealed earlier, dashboard looks fresh and different in all dark grey colour with silver and piano black touches. According to Skoda, all switches and functions are easy to access and the whole interior comes with a self-explanatory layout. The air vents are positioned vertically hosting a touchscreen display. The gear lever is also seen in the picture showing 6-speed manual gearbox also indicating a 4×4 option.
We will get the full details of the Kodiaq once Skoda makes the official launch today in Berlin.
