Maruti Suzuki has issued a callback of 75,419 units of it’s much popular hatchback Baleno to upgrade the software that controls the airbags. The recall will be applied to the cars manufactured between August 3, 2015 and May 17, 2016. Out of this cars, about 16000 diesel units manufactured between August 3, 2015 and March 22, 2016 will also be checked for faulty fuel filter.
Along with the Baleno, company has also recalled 1961 units of it’s compact sedan Swift DZire’s automatic version to replace faulty fuel filter. The upgradation of software and filter replacement will be done free of cost.The customers effected by the recalls will be contacted by the dealers from May 31, 2016.
Earlier this month, Maruti Suzuki has also recalled 20,427 units of it’s crossover S-Cross to replace a faulty brake part.
