The first launch of the year 2017 has come from Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle department with the launch of an all new range of pick ups ‘Xenon Yodha’. The Xenon Yodha will be available in BS-III and BS-IV variants to meet up the upcoming emission norms.
The Xenon Yodha will have single cab and double cab options available to choose from. The price starts at Rs 6.05 lakh (Single Cab – BSIII) & Rs 6.19 lakh(Single Cab – BSIV). Xenon Yodha is powered by 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine with an output of 72 hp and 223Nm in BSIII & 85 hp and 250 Nm in BS IV. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and offered with 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrain options.
Xenon Yodha has payload capacity of 1250 kg and claimed to be capable of any terrain thanks to the high 210 mm of ground clearance and bigger 16-inch radial tyres. On the safety perspective, it comes fitted with antiroll bars for better stability, unique 3-layered body construction, crumple zones, collapsible steering column, retractable seatbelts and side intrusion beams.
Tata Motors is offering a first-in-segment customized AMC service package of 3 years / 1 lakh kms (whichever is earlier) and a best-in-industry assured Warranty of 3 years or 3,00,000 km (whichever is earlier) for the Xenon Yodha.
