Upcoming Audi Q8 spied in production body for the first time

Just few days to go for the Detroit NAIAS in Detroit where we’re going to see the global unveiling of Audi’s new flagship SUV Q8 and just before that the SUV has been spied for the first time in what it seems to be the final production form.

Before you make any assumption from the name Q8, let us tell you that yes it will be positioned above the existing Q7 but it’s not a huge bulky SUV. The Q8 is said to be a cross between SUV and Sport Coupe and seen in the spyshots, it has more inclined roofline towards the rear compared to the Q7. Interms of design, Audi seems to be answering the like of BMW X6 and the GLE Coupé from Mercedes.

Q8 will be more luxurious and premium than the Q7 and Audi also looking to introduce all new cabin with the Q8 and A8 which will be followed in company’s other future models. Before this, Audi’s chief designer Marc Lichte revealed a few sketches of the concept during an interview few days back.
