To celebrate 20 years of Hyundai in India, company has silently launched limited edition of it’s compact sedan Xcent with some minor exterior and interior changes. The anniversary edition will only be available in S variant at the price of ₹ 6.25 lakh for petrol and ₹ 7.17 lakh for diesel (Both ex-showroom, Delhi) which is about ₹ 17,000 more than the regular S variant of the car.
In the exterior look, the special edition gets chrome finish to the lower front grille, a ’20th anniversary’ badge on the boot, rear spoiler with integrated brake light, additional chrome detailing to the rear fascia and red side-body graphics starting from the tail lamps going all the way to the back door. It will come in two colour options- Pure White and Sleek Silver.
Inside, it gets red & black dual tone seat upholstery and a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is missing in the regular edition. The engines will be the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.1-litre diesel that powers the standard Xcent.
Only 2,400 units will be produced of this special-edition sedan.
